Physiotherapists are first-line practitioners, you do NOT need a doctor’s referral in order to make an appointment. After a thorough assessment, we might deem it necessary to refer you further, for investigative tests or to a specialist.

Kindly provide any recent or relevant reports, X-rays, or other tests and images. Please also bring your medical aid card so we can assist with your account submission.

Wear comfortable exercise clothing that allows you to move freely. Please bring your own water bottle and a small towel. Pilates is done in socks; no specialist footwear needed.

This will depend on the severity and nature of your condition. After a thorough assessment and first treatment, Mariana will discuss your progress and guide you towards the best possible outcome, so you always know what to expect.

Yes, we charge the rates specified by your medical aid. With the information supplied by you, we have access to submit fees directly to your medical aid. If your medical aid doesn’t cover physiotherapy, or your benefits have been depleted, the account needs to be settled by you. Private patients settle their account directly.
